Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have surprised their fans by announcing the arrival of their fourth child. The couple, who experienced the devastating loss of their son Jack in 2020, welcomed their newborn son, Wren Alexander, in January via a surrogate.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Chrissy shared her lifelong desire to have four children, reminiscing about her childhood with glow worms and cabbage patch dolls. She expressed her gratitude for the support she received after the loss of Jack, stating that she didn't think she would be able to carry any more babies on her own.

However, Chrissy and John decided to explore surrogacy and initially considered having two babies simultaneously. But after a therapy session, Chrissy expressed her desire to try carrying a child one more time. She acknowledged the uncertainty and risks involved but couldn't bear the thought of wondering if she should have tried again.

The couple restarted the IVF process and successfully became pregnant with their daughter Esti. Around the same time, they met their surrogate, Alexandra, whom they described as incredible, loving, and compassionate. Unfortunately, the first embryo didn't survive, but Chrissy expressed her gratitude for Alexandra's determination to undergo a second transfer.

Chrissy enjoyed her pregnancy, albeit with some fears common to expecting couples, as they approached the safe zone. Meanwhile, they received the joyous news that Alexandra was also pregnant with a little boy. On June 19th, just minutes before midnight, Chrissy witnessed Alexandra give birth to their son amidst a bit of chaos but with immense strength, joy, and love.

Expressing their gratitude to Alexandra for the incredible gift she has given them, Chrissy and John announced the arrival of their son, Wren Alexander Stephens. They shared that their hearts and home are now officially full and dedicated their angel kisses to their late son Jack.

The couple's announcement has been met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from their fans, who have followed their journey and supported them through both joyous and challenging times. Chrissy and John's openness about their experiences with pregnancy loss and surrogacy have brought comfort and hope to many others facing similar struggles.
