Father of Wynter Smith, a missing toddler, shares his thoughts as Michigan authorities persist in their search

2-year-old Wynter Smith missing, father describes her as kind and trusting.

Wynter Smith, a 2-year-old girl who has gone missing, is being described as a kind, trusting, and expressive child by her father, Almount "AJ" Smith. According to AJ, he received a phone call from Wynter's mother shortly after she was taken, where she informed him that someone had taken their daughter. Upon hearing the news, AJ immediately traveled back to Michigan from Tennessee, where he attends school.

AJ expressed his frustration with the response from the Lansing police, stating that they took a long time to take action. However, he is grateful that they are now actively involved in the search for Wynter and hopes that it is not too late to find her. The 911 call regarding Wynter's disappearance was made on Sunday night, and when police arrived at the scene, they found Wynter's mother with multiple stab wounds. Fortunately, she has received medical attention and has been released from the hospital.

Despite the traumatic incident, Wynter's mother is doing well physically. AJ mentioned that she is talking, walking, but still worried about their daughter's safety. The suspect, Rashad Trice, was apprehended by the police in St. Clair Shores. However, Wynter was not found in the car at the time of his arrest. Trice has not provided any information regarding Wynter's whereabouts, leaving the police and her family desperate for answers.

AJ spoke highly of Wynter, stating that she gets along with everyone and trusts easily. He expressed his sadness that someone would take advantage of her trusting nature. Wynter's innocence and inability to see evil in others make her a good-hearted child, but it also puts her at risk in situations like this.

If you have any information about Wynter's whereabouts, it is crucial to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL FBI. The authorities and her family are counting on the public's help to bring Wynter back home safely.
