Travis Scott unveils plans for 'Utopia' launch show and livestream at the Pyramids of Giza

Travis Scott announces special launch show and livestream for 'Utopia'.

Travis Scott has exciting news for his fans as he announces a special launch show and livestream for his highly anticipated upcoming album, 'Utopia'. In a social media post on Sunday night, the rapper revealed that the event will take place on July 28 at the iconic Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Fans can now pre-order tickets for the livestream and album packs, which include vinyl.

While the exact release date for 'Utopia' has yet to be announced, hints from billboards in Los Angeles suggest that the album will be dropping sometime this July. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the follow-up to Travis Scott's critically acclaimed 2018 album, 'Astroworld'. In May, Scott gave a preview of the upcoming album to Houston's professional baseball team, the Astros. He expressed his excitement, telling KRIV's Sports Director Mark Berman, "It's on the way now, Mark." In a clip, Scott was also heard mentioning that he was in the final stages of mastering the album.

In other news, it has been confirmed that Travis Scott will not face charges in connection with the tragic crowd surge at the Astroworld Music Festival in 2021. During Scott's headline performance, a surge of over-capacity crowd led to injuries and the unfortunate deaths of 10 people due to compressive asphyxiation. The victims ranged in age from nine to 27.

Travis Scott's previous album, 'Astroworld', received high praise from NME's Jordan Bassett, who awarded it a five-star review. Bassett described the album as the creation of a musician who has built an entire world around himself, leaving listeners intrigued about his motives and life beyond the public eye.
