Luai, an Arabic name meaning "shield" or "protector," was announced as Lohan's choice for her son's name back in March when she shared a photo on Instagram of a white onesie with the words "coming soon." Lohan, 37, has been living overseas for a number of years and tied the knot with Shammas last year.

Once a prominent figure in tabloid media, Lohan has since maintained a lower public profile. However, she has returned to acting, appearing in Netflix's "Falling for Christmas" and will star in an upcoming romantic comedy called "Irish Wish" on the streaming service.

In an interview with Allure magazine in June, Lohan expressed her excitement about becoming a mother and discussed the challenges of balancing work and family life. She mentioned seeking advice from her former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis, who encouraged her to bring the baby along wherever she goes.
