The 24-year-old French international, who was absent from training sessions and notably left out of PSG's season opener against Lorient, has been caught in a contract dilemma while expressing his desire to join Real Madrid.

Mbappe's contract standoff, driven by his ambition to explore opportunities with Real Madrid, has garnered significant attention. However, recent developments suggest that he may reconsider his position and extend his contract with PSG. The club has announced his reinstatement after engaging in "very constructive and positive" discussions with the player.

During the recent season opener, Mbappe was seen in the stands alongside his compatriot Ousmane Dembele, who recently joined PSG from Barcelona for a transfer fee of £43.5 million. Interestingly, both players were excluded from the pre-season tour in Asia.

With only one year left on his current contract, Mbappe's reluctance to commit to a new deal has sparked speculation. In the past month, PSG granted Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal permission to hold talks with the player following a staggering world-record bid of £259 million.
