New hires at LSU, Our Lady of the Lake

LSU hires Anzilla Gilmore as associate vice president for facility and property oversight, bringing over 23 years of experience.

Baton Rouge

LSU has recently welcomed Anzilla Gilmore as their new associate vice president for facility and property oversight. Gilmore joins the university from Rice University, where she held the position of interim associate vice president of facilities, engineering, and planning, as well as the FEP diversity and inclusion program director. With more than 23 years of experience in architecture, facilities planning, and project management, Gilmore brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. She is also a registered architect in Texas. Gilmore holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Prairie View A&M University, a master's degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a graduate certificate in equality, diversity, and inclusion from Boston College. Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree in leadership and learning in organizations at Vanderbilt University.

The Ehrhardt Group has recently announced the promotions of two employees. Traci D. Howerton has been promoted to the position of account supervisor of marketing and content. With over 20 years of experience in public and media relations, marketing, and advertising, Howerton brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Prior to joining TEG, she worked as a consultant with a focus on brand management and public relations. Howerton holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications with a concentration in public relations and broadcast journalism from Nicholls State University, as well as a master's degree in history from the University of New Orleans.

Katie McKeogh has also been promoted to the position of account supervisor of public affairs at The Ehrhardt Group. She previously served as the press secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and has held various roles on Capitol Hill. McKeogh holds bachelor's degrees in public relations and history from the University of Georgia.

The New Orleans Women & Children's Shelter has appointed Madeleine Briscoe as their new chief philanthropy officer. Briscoe previously served as the chief development officer of Girl Scouts Louisiana East and has held leadership positions with Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis and the Purdue University Research Foundation. She is also a board member for the Greater New Orleans Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Briscoe earned her undergraduate degree from Butler University.

Dr. Tucker Madden has recently joined Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group on the north shore. He is now seeing patients at the Money Hill Walk-In Clinic in Bush and at the Internal Medicine - Lakeview Court in Covington. Madden holds an associate's degree in nursing from Louisiana Tech University and a medical degree from LSU Health Science Center - New Orleans. He completed his family medicine residency at LSUHSC - Lake Charles.

Pan-American Life Insurance Group has appointed Steven A. Friedman as their new chief financial officer. Friedman will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as the president of finance and investments. He takes over the role from David Demmon, who served as CFO for the past seven years. Prior to joining Pan-American Life, Friedman held the position of senior managing director of Guggenheim Securities' Financial Institutions Group. With over two decades of experience advising both U.S. and internationally based companies in the life, property-casualty, and reinsurance sectors, Friedman brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
