However, it was his portrayal of Don West in "Lost in Space" that truly solidified his place in television history.

"Lost in Space," which premiered in 1965, followed the adventures of the Robinson family as they navigated their way through space after being stranded due to sabotage. Goddard's character, Don West, along with a loyal robot, accompanied the family on their perilous journey to find their way back to Earth.
