Samuel has been practicing all week and was not listed on the team's Friday injury report, indicating that he is set to play in today's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. On the other hand, Williams' status was less certain. Although he returned to the practice field on Thursday, he was officially listed as "questionable" for the Week 10 contest. Both Williams and head coach Kyle Shanahan sounded less than optimistic about his chances of playing.

With the veteran left tackle ailing, the 49ers should have Jaylon Moore ready to go in case Williams needs a breather during the action. The team has a lot of confidence in the backup offensive lineman.

Also listed as "questionable" on Friday was defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, who had a knee issue flare up during Thursday's practice. However, he is active and set to play.

In addition to the return of Samuel and Williams, the 49ers have also acquired Chase Young from the Washington Commanders in exchange for a 2024 compensatory pick. Young, a defensive end, will make his debut in the red and gold against the Jaguars.
