Patriots fans in Germany sing "Sweet Caroline," distracting Colts' quarterback, leading to a good result for New England.

During Sunday's Colts-Patriots game at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany, fans gave a taste of Boston by singing "Sweet Caroline" during a break in play. Unlike fans at Fenway Park, the German fans kept singing after the music cut off when play resumed. As Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew heard fans singing, he dropped back to pass and evaded the Patriots' pass rush. However, amidst the singing, Minshew threw the ball away to avoid a sack, resulting in an incomplete pass. The moment was enjoyed by Rich Eisen and former Patriots defensive back Jason McCourty, who were on the call for the game. Despite the singing fans, the Patriots were able to force a three-and-out, but a failed attempt to block the ensuing punt resulted in the Patriots being pinned back at their 18-yard line after a 69-yard punt by Rigoberto Sanchez.
