Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt daughter Zahara drops Pitt name new sorority video

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt joins Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, dropping "Pitt" from her name.

Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has achieved a significant milestone as she was officially welcomed into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College in Atlanta. The 18-year-old introduced herself as a new member of the first national Black sorority, and fans noticed that she omitted "Pitt" from her name in a video shared by Essence.

Since their split in 2016, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been embroiled in legal battles, including disputes over their winery and custody of their six children: Maddox, 22, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Jolie recently revealed that she adjusted her filming schedule seven years ago to focus on her children's needs, stating, "We had a lot of healing to do." She also discussed her new fashion venture, the Atelier Jolie, and her ongoing journey to understand her personal style.

Despite her internal battles, Jolie has consistently shown up for her children, whether through family red carpet outings, attending Zahara's homecoming weekend, or involving Vivienne as her assistant on a theater project. In a 2021 interview with People, Jolie expressed her excitement about the different stages and feelings her children experience and emphasized the importance of enthusiastically developing with them.

In her own words, Jolie admitted to feeling a bit down and not like herself for the past decade, but she remains focused on supporting her children as they navigate their individual paths. She emphasized her role in helping her children figure out who they are and the significance of being honest and human with them. Despite the challenges, Jolie's commitment to her children's well-being and her own personal growth shines through.
