Fox Sports Wants Bill Belichick to Join as Analyst: Exclusive Interview

Bill Belichick could reunite with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski after being passed over for Falcons job, possibly joining Fox Sports.

Legendary former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who recently departed the team after an impressive 24-season tenure, was in the running for the head coaching position with the Atlanta Falcons. Despite having two interviews, including a one-on-one meeting with team owner Arthur Blank on his yacht, the job ultimately went to Raheem Morris. Now, it seems that Belichick may be reuniting with former players Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

During his time with the New England Patriots, Belichick led quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski to three Super Bowl victories between 2014 and 2018. Now, there are rumors of a possible reunion as Brady and Gronkowski have both transitioned into roles with Fox Sports. Gronkowski is a regular NFL contributor on the network, while Brady has signed a lucrative 10-year, $375 million deal to work for Fox Sports starting next season.

It is reported that Bill Belichick is being considered for a role as a panelist on Fox Sports, potentially joining his former players Brady and Gronkowski. With limited coaching opportunities for the upcoming season, this could be a temporary move for Belichick while he waits for another coaching opportunity.

According to a source, "Bill was convinced he was going to get the Falcons job and now his options to coach next season are slimming by the minute which now may lead him to a reunion with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski for the next year while he waits for a coaching job opening. Fox brass are considering throwing an offer to Bill to become a panelist and they would love to have him on Fox NFL Sunday, which would have him join Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady. Fox is talking about getting the band back together and will be offering him a job if he doesn't sign with an NFL team this upcoming season." It seems that a potential reunion of this iconic trio could be in the works.
