Donald Trump arrives Florida Miami Grand Prix

Former President Donald Trump boosts security at Miami F1 race, attends without fundraising, joined by celebrities like Taylor Swift and Tom Brady.

Former President Donald Trump has made an appearance at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium for the Sunday Formula One race, causing a significant increase in security measures for the 57-lap event in Florida. Trump, currently facing trial in New York for falsifying documents related to hush money payments, visited the McLaren garage to meet with CEO Zak Brown, F1 boss Stefano Domenicali, and FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

Reports indicated that the potential Republican candidate had planned to host a political fundraiser in an exclusive paddock club suite, but Tom Garfinkel, CEO of the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium, clarified that there would be no fundraising activities at the event. The focus was on bringing people together and creating a positive environment, free from political or commercial exploitation.

Among the star-studded guest list for the race were pop sensation Taylor Swift, accompanied by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs' Superbowl champion Travis Kelce. Other notable attendees included retired NFL star Tom Brady, soccer legend Zinedine Zidane, golfer Rory McIlroy, basketball icon LeBron James, and singer Shakira.

On the racing front, Max Verstappen, who has dominated the F1 season with four wins out of five races, secured pole position, while seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton started eighth on the grid. The event promised excitement both on and off the track, with a mix of celebrities, sports stars, and racing enthusiasts coming together to enjoy the thrilling spectacle.
