Dua Lipa recalls two years humiliation dancing

Dua Lipa opens up about overcoming criticism and humiliation, regaining confidence with 'Future Nostalgia' album, reflects on tough journey.

Singer Dua Lipa recently shared her struggles with enduring "two years of humiliation" due to criticism of her dancing skills. She revealed that it wasn't until her comeback with 'Future Nostalgia' that she was able to regain her confidence.

In an interview with the Guardian magazine, Lipa expressed how hurtful it was when people turned a snippet of her dancing into a meme and questioned her talent after winning the best new artist Grammy. She had to take a break from Twitter to protect her mental health.

The singer explained that the criticism affected her deeply as she was still figuring out her identity as an artist and performer in the public eye. Lipa had to develop tough skin and resilience to overcome the negativity.

It wasn't until she finished writing 'Future Nostalgia' and performed 'Don't Start Now' at the MTV Europe Music Awards that she started to feel a shift in her confidence. The period of humiliation lasted for about two years, during which she had to navigate growing up while under intense scrutiny.

Despite her struggles, Lipa has released her third studio album titled 'Radical Optimism' and is gearing up to headline Glastonbury later this summer. She attributes her success to hard work and dedication, expressing excitement about reaching new heights in her career.
