Pamela Anderson Met Gala debut: Pandora pink lab-grown diamonds, Oscar de la Renta crinkle gown

Pamela Anderson shines at Met Gala debut in sustainable lab-grown diamonds, making a statement with glamour and environmental awareness.

Pamela Anderson made a stunning debut at the Met Gala in New York, showcasing a look that perfectly captured her essence of glamour and sustainability. The actress arrived on the red carpet adorned in nearly 200 carats of white and pink lab-grown diamonds from Pandora, elegantly wrapped around her collar and shoulder. Her crinkle chiffon Oscar de la Renta dress, in a fawn color, featured a hand-pleated corseted bodice that transformed Anderson into a "fairy in the forest."

In a statement, Anderson expressed her excitement about enjoying beauty and fashion on her own terms, especially in pieces created by Pandora. She emphasized the allure of sustainable diamonds, combining opulence with innovation to reduce harm to the environment. The brand's creative directors, A. Filippo Ficarelli and Francesco Terzo, highlighted the significance of lab-grown diamonds on the red carpet, particularly at the Met Gala, as a key cultural moment.

Pandora's commitment to sustainability is evident in their lab-grown diamonds, which have a carbon footprint 95% smaller than mined diamonds and are produced using 100% renewable energy. The Danish jeweler introduced two limited-edition 1 carat pink diamond necklaces, priced at $2,290 and available exclusively in select stores and online.

Anderson's partnership with Pandora began last year when she became the face of the "Diamonds for All" campaign, showcasing the brand's expansion into lab-grown diamonds. The Met Gala, known for raising funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and celebrating the Costume Institute's exhibits, featured this year's theme, "The Garden of Time," in anticipation of the "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" exhibit. The event was co-chaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
