Former Warrior Donte DiVincenzo scores 8 points against Pacers in Game 5

Former Warrior Donte DiVincenzo returns to New York for Game 5, but struggles as Knicks dominate Pacers behind Jalen Brunson.

Former Golden State Warrior guard turned New York Knicks wing Donte DiVincenzo made his return to the Big Apple for Game 5 after two tough losses in Indiana. The game was highly anticipated, with a fiery crowd at Madison Square Garden.

In Game 5, DiVincenzo put up eight points on 4-of-14 shooting, along with seven rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block in 30 minutes against the Indiana Pacers. Unfortunately, he struggled from beyond the arc, going 0-for-6 on three-point attempts.

Tensions rose in the third quarter between DiVincenzo and Indiana center Myles Turner after a heated exchange following a big dunk from DiVincenzo. The two players had to be separated on the court.

Despite DiVincenzo's shooting struggles, the Knicks secured a dominant 121-91 victory over the Pacers, thanks to a standout performance from Jalen Brunson. The Knicks' All-Star point guard scored 44 points on 18-of-35 shooting, adding seven assists and four rebounds in 43 minutes.

In the first three games of the series, DiVincenzo had impressive scoring performances, including a 35-point outburst in Game 3. However, he has been quieter in the last two games, scoring in single digits against the Pacers.

The Knicks will look to close out the series in Game 6 and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Stay tuned for more updates and highlights from Warriors Wire on Facebook and Twitter!
