The event was graced by esteemed guests such as Tholoana Rose Ncheke, Chairperson of the National Film and Video Foundation in South Africa, and filmmaker Richie Mehta. According to PIB, the Bharat Pavilion serves as a vibrant platform showcasing the diverse landscape of Indian films, talent, and industry opportunities.

The audience was captivated by Hemsworth and Taylor-Joy's impeccable craft and stunning fashion choices at the event. Taylor-Joy looked stunning in a champagne-colored Dior ball gown paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, while Hemsworth exuded elegance in black trousers, a white jacket, and shirt. "Furiosa," a prequel to George Miller's acclaimed film "Mad Max: Fury Road," promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience.

"Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" is set to hit Indian theaters on May 23, followed by its US premiere on May 24. Director Miller expressed his gratitude after the Cannes premiere, acknowledging the hard work put into the film. Baz Luhrmann described the film as a "steampunk, Wagnerian opera," adding to the anticipation surrounding its release.

The film's synopsis sets the stage for an epic adventure, as young Furiosa is taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers and thrown into the midst of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. As she navigates the Wasteland and encounters the Citadel ruled by The Immortan Joe, Furiosa must overcome numerous challenges to find her way back home.
