Murray elbow injury, 4-for-18 shooting in Nuggets Game 6 flop

Jamal Murray struggles with injury as Denver Nuggets face Game 7 against Minnesota Timberwolves in Western Conference semifinals.

Jamal Murray had a rough night in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It all started with a missed fadeaway and a floater that just wouldn't go in. But what really hurt him was a collision with Rudy Gobert that left him clutching his right elbow in pain.

Despite trying to play through it, Murray struggled to find his rhythm and finished the game shooting just 4 for 18 from the floor. The defending champion Denver Nuggets suffered a crushing 115-70 defeat, and now they face a must-win Game 7.

Murray, who has been dealing with a strained left calf and previous right elbow pain, will have some extra time to heal before the decisive game. He remains hopeful that he can get it right for his team.

This postseason has been a rollercoaster for Murray, from hitting game-winners against the Lakers to getting fined for tossing a heat pack onto the court. But now, all eyes are on him as he looks to bounce back in Game 7.

"It's all behind us now," Murray said. "I've just got to get ready and be able to be better for Sunday."
