In a recent interview with Postmedia, a 14-year-old actor expressed his excitement and interest in his first experience working on an animated movie. He described how the process was new to him, as he had imagined things in his head that turned out to be completely different in the movie.

The Toronto event where the film was screened had a subdued atmosphere due to the ongoing Hollywood strikes. The absence of the film's stars, including Kristen Bell, James Marsden, Mckenna Grace, Taraji P. Henson, Chris Rock, and Kim Kardashian, meant there was no red carpet or glamorous presence. However, the young actor had the opportunity to meet some of the Canadian actors who provided voices for the film. Hearing the voices of the Hollywood stars alongside his own was a revelation for him.

The Grade 10 student reflected on the many firsts he experienced during this project. Not only was it his first time working on an animated film, but it was also his first lead role. Additionally, he had the unique opportunity to travel to Toronto for a few days of media interviews. The film, titled PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, is based on a popular computer-animated children's series and serves as a sequel to the original 2021 film. It introduces a superhero twist to the franchise as the PAW Patrol puppies gain superpowers after a magical meteor crashes in Adventure City, leading them to face off against two supervillains.

Overall, the young actor's journey in this animated movie has been filled with excitement and new experiences. From working with unexpected Hollywood stars to exploring the world of animation, he has embraced the challenges and opportunities presented to him. As he continues to grow in his acting career, this project will undoubtedly serve as a memorable milestone in his journey.
