Pacers defeat 76ers 132-126 in NBA In-Season Tournament game

Pacers snap Sixers' 8-game winning streak. Heat remain unbeaten, Pelicans and Hawks win, Magic lose, Thunder earn first tourney win.

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 132-126 in an NBA In-Season Tournament game on Tuesday night, ending the 76ers' eight-game winning streak. Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 33 points and 15 assists, while Obi Toppin added 27 points. The Pacers improved to 2-0 in pool play, taking the lead in the tourney's East Group A standings, while the 76ers slipped to 1-1.

In another game, the Miami Heat secured a 111-105 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, with Jimmy Butler scoring a season-high 32 points, and Bam Adebayo contributing 21 points and 11 rebounds. The Heat remained unbeaten in the in-season tournament, advancing to 2-0 in group play, while the Hornets are 1-1.

The New Orleans Pelicans snapped a five-game losing streak with a 131-110 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Brandon Ingram and rookie Jordan Hawkins each scored 25 points, and Zion Williamson and Herb Jones added 19 points each. Dallas committed 20 turnovers in the loss, with Luka Doncic scoring 16 points but missing 11 of 16 shots.

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Detroit Pistons 126-120, with Dejounte Murray leading the Hawks with 32 points and nine assists. The Hawks won their Eastern Conference Group A tourney opener, while the Pistons fell to 0-2.

Spencer Dinwiddie had 29 points, eight assists, and five rebounds, leading the Brooklyn Nets to a 124-104 victory over the Orlando Magic. Mikal Bridges chipped in 21 points, and Cam Johnson scored 20 points as Brooklyn put six players in double figures.

The Oklahoma City Thunder rolled past the San Antonio Spurs with a 123-87 win, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who had 28 points and a career-high seven steals. The Thunder earned their first tourney win in three tries and set a record with 19 steals.

The Utah Jazz dealt the Portland Trail Blazers their fourth straight loss with a 115-99 victory, led by Jordan Clarkson's 30 points and Lauri Markkanen's 21 points and nine rebounds. The Jazz won their second straight tournament game, while Portland slipped to 1-1 in West Group A play.
