Cops Seek Answers in Florida Teen's Tragic Death: Who Killed Ella Adler?

Florida law enforcement officials are currently on the lookout for the boat responsible for the tragic death of a 15-year-old girl while she was waterskiing in Key Biscayne. Miami Beach teen Ella Adler was enjoying a day of waterskiing near Nixon Beach when she fell into the water around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As she waited for her own boat to come pick her up, she was struck by another vessel, resulting in fatal injuries.

The boat that struck Adler is described as a center console boat with a light blue hull, multiple white outboard engines, and possibly blue or dark blue bottom paint. After the incident, the boat was last seen heading westbound from Nixon Beach. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) is actively investigating the case and is seeking the public's assistance in providing any relevant information.

Adler, a student at Ransom Everglades School, was described as a shining star by her parents and school community. She was a talented ballet dancer, having performed in numerous productions of "The Nutcracker" with the Miami City Ballet. Her love for dance, family, and friends was evident in her vibrant personality and love for life.

The tragic loss of Adler has deeply impacted her family, friends, and community. Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava expressed her condolences to the Adler family and urged for better boat safety measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
