Gordon, who averages 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, played in a Christmas-day matchup just hours before the dog bite occurred. The Nuggets currently hold the second-place spot in the Western Conference with a record of 22-10. Due to the injury being to Gordon's right hand, the team is not rushing his return to the court.
