After the second and third rounds of the draft have concluded, the top landing spots for each quarterback are starting to become clearer. One quarterback who has seen a surprising slide is Rattler, who was given a third-round grade by B/R NFL Scout Derrik Klassen in his scouting report of the 23-year-old.

Klassen praised Rattler's arm talent, noting that there are few players who can match his flexibility, arm strength, and accuracy. In the 2023 season, Rattler completed nearly 69% of his passes for over 3,000 yards with 19 touchdown passes and only eight interceptions, adding four more scores on the ground.

Three teams that could be targeting Rattler in the later rounds of the draft include the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, and Seattle Seahawks. The Raiders, who selected tight end Brock Bowers with their first-round pick, still lack a clear-cut starter at quarterback. Rattler's youth and potential upside could make him an attractive option for Las Vegas.

The Giants, who drafted wide receiver Malik Nabers in the first round, hosted Rattler for a visit before the draft. With Daniel Jones entrenched as the starter, Rattler could provide valuable depth behind him with his strong arm and aggressive mindset.

The Seahawks, led by Geno Smith as the 2024 starter, also hosted Rattler for a visit. With Smith approaching 34 years old, Rattler could spend a few years learning behind him before eventually taking over the starting job.
