Raksha Bandhan 2023: Free Bus Service for Women Passengers in Uttarakhand Announced by CM Pushkar Dhami
Women in Uttarakhand will be able to enjoy free rides on state-run buses on Raksha Bandhan, according to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The announcement allows women to travel for free on city buses from 12:00 pm on August 30 to 12:00 am on August 31. The move aims to celebrate the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters during the festival. The Uttar Pradesh government has also announced free bus travel for women on the occasion.
