Unveiling Nakamura: The Talented Individual behind Lil Uzi Vert's Pink Tape Anthem

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert samples Shinsuke Nakamura's WWE theme song in album.

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert has released his highly anticipated album 'Pink Tape', featuring a total of 26 tracks. However, what caught the attention of fans was the special connection the album has with WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura.

One of the tracks on the album, titled "Nakamura", samples Nakamura's famous WWE theme song, 'The Rising Sun'. This unexpected inclusion of the theme song in Lil Uzi Vert's album trailer surprised many.

For those unfamiliar with Nakamura, he is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to WWE and is associated with the company's RAW brand. He began his wrestling career with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and quickly rose to prominence. At the young age of 23, Nakamura became one of the youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champions, holding the title a total of three times during his tenure with NJPW.

In 2016, Nakamura made the transition to WWE, signing with their developmental brand, NXT. The news of his signing was confirmed on January 6, and a press conference was held in Tokyo on February 22 to officially announce the partnership. Nakamura's first appearance in NXT was at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, where he emerged victorious against Sami Zayn. He then made his television debut on April 13, 2016, defeating Tye Dillinger.

Nakamura's first NXT Championship reign began on August 20 at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, where he defeated Samoa Joe to claim the title. However, his first loss on WWE TV came at TakeOver: Toronto on November 19, when he was defeated by Samoa Joe in a title defense match. Nakamura managed to regain the championship on December 28 in Osaka, only to lose it to Bobby Roode on January 28, 2017, at TakeOver: San Antonio.

His final appearance on NXT TV took place on April 12, 2017, marking the end of his tenure in the developmental brand. Nakamura then made his main roster debut on April 4, 2017, on SmackDown. Since then, he has achieved significant success, including winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the WWE United States Championship twice. He also had a reign as the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion alongside Cesaro and emerged victorious in the Men's Royal Rumble in 2018.

Currently, Nakamura is scheduled to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match at The O2 Arena in London. However, considering his recent string of losses, it remains uncertain whether he will be able to secure the coveted briefcase.

Interestingly, there have been rumors circulating about former NJPW wrestler Kota Ibushi, who is currently a free agent. Both WWE and AEW have expressed interest in signing him. If WWE manages to secure Ibushi's services, there is a possibility that he could replace Nakamura at the last minute in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome of the event and the potential surprises that may unfold. In the meantime, Lil Uzi Vert's 'Pink Tape' continues to make waves in the music industry, drawing attention not only for its tracks but also for its unexpected connection to the world of professional wrestling.
