Tammy Slaton from '1000-Lb. Sisters' Pays a Touching Tribute Post to Late Husband Caleb Willingham

Reality star Tammy Slaton pays tribute to late husband Caleb Willingham.

Tammy Slaton, star of the show 1000-Lb. Sisters, recently paid tribute to her late husband Caleb Willingham in a heartfelt Instagram post. Slaton shared a series of photos that showcased their happier moments together. The images captured the couple smiling and embracing each other, with Slaton standing behind Willingham and holding onto his neck while he held her hands. Willingham, who was in a wheelchair, wore a dark blue sweatshirt with a visible breathing tube, while Slaton donned a matching blue camouflage print sweatshirt and her signature glasses. The photos seemed to have been taken during the Christmas holiday, as a decorated tree could be seen in the background. Slaton also included a picture of them happily posing for the camera after enjoying a meal together, with a snowman tablecloth adorning the table.

In her caption, Slaton expressed her grief and appreciation for Willingham, writing, "Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️." Slaton later confirmed Willingham's passing in a statement to PEOPLE, expressing her devastation and describing him as her best friend whom she loved dearly. She also mentioned how Caleb had become her guardian angel and emphasized the importance of respecting their privacy during this difficult time.

Slaton and Willingham first met at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio, in 2022. Willingham proposed in October, and their marriage was announced exclusively by PEOPLE in November. The couple decided to have their wedding at the rehab center, with a small gathering of 30 friends and family members. The ceremony was officiated by their home care nurse and family friend, Billy. Slaton joyfully shared the news, stating, "You all knew me as Tammy Slaton, but now you'll all know me as Mrs. Tammy Willingham. I'm married now!" She described the moment she saw Caleb at the altar as magical, envisioning doves and butterflies surrounding them as a symbol of divine presence.

Following the news of Willingham's passing, friends on Facebook began sharing tributes and memories. One user, I'am Willc, posted a heartfelt message accompanied by a photo of Willingham standing in front of a microphone. The user expressed disbelief at having to make such a post and referred to Caleb as their big brother. The tribute included various nicknames and highlighted Willingham's unwavering support. The user concluded by saying, "You will be forever loved and missed. Until we meet again."

The loss of Caleb Willingham has undoubtedly left a void in Tammy Slaton's life, but her tribute and the memories they shared together serve as a testament to the love and happiness they experienced. As fans and well-wishers, we can only offer our condolences and support during this challenging time.
