The Coastal Empire is gearing up for the highly anticipated 4th of July celebrations, and there is no shortage of exciting events to attend. From live music to fireworks, these family-friendly gatherings are sure to create lasting memories.
One of the most popular events is the Savannah Stars and Stripes July 4th Weekend Celebration at Plant Riverside District. From June 30 to July 4, attendees can enjoy free live music, kid-friendly activities, and a wide variety of food and drink options. The lineup of performers includes the Parris Island Marine Band, the 116th United States Army Band, Roman + the Riot, Laiken Love and The Fellowship of Love, and many others. Additionally, MLK Jr. Park will host nightly America the Beautiful Fountain Shows at 9 and 10 p.m. On July 4, the Savannah's Waterfront Independence Day Fireworks Show will light up the sky over the Savannah River at 9:15 p.m. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, a special VIP party will be held at Electric Moon from 7 to 11 p.m., featuring a live DJ, drink specials, and giveaways.
For history enthusiasts, Fort McAllister State Historic Park is the place to be. On July 1 and July 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the park will transport attendees back to 1864 with living history demonstrations. The evening will culminate with a breathtaking fireworks display at 9:15 p.m.
