Verstappen Secures F1 Hungarian GP Victory, Extending Lead; Red Bull Continues Impressive Winning Streak
Max Verstappen wins 7th straight race at Hungarian Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen secured his seventh consecutive victory of the season at the Hungarian Grand Prix, further solidifying his dominance in Formula One. Starting from second position behind Lewis Hamilton, Verstappen quickly overtook the seven-time champion at the first corner and never looked back. This win also marked Red Bull's 12th consecutive victory, breaking McLaren's record from 1988. Verstappen's win puts him in a commanding position for a third straight F1 title, with a 110-point lead over his teammate Sergio Perez. Lando Norris finished second for the second race in a row, while Perez took third place. Despite starting from pole position, Hamilton finished in fourth place, unable to match Verstappen's pace. Verstappen now has a total of 44 career wins, the same as Hamilton, and he hopes to quickly surpass that number.
