Spotify launches Billions Club: The Series with top artists celebrating streaming milestones.

Spotify has recently unveiled its latest venture, the Billions Club: The Series, featuring three prominent stars as its inaugural participants. The series will be showcased on the Today's Top Hits Instagram and TikTok platforms, taking the concept of the Billions Club to new heights. Ashley Graver, Head of Pop, Dance, and Indie Artist Partnerships at Spotify, stated that the Billions Club was initially established to honor artistic talent and recognize the cultural impact of exceptional songs. With the introduction of Billions Club: The Series, this celebration of achievement will be elevated to new levels.

The video series will provide stars with the opportunity to commemorate their songs reaching the remarkable milestone of one billion streams by creating a distinctive experience with their Spotify Billions plaque. A teaser trailer, skillfully shot and produced by OBB, offers a glimpse into how each musician is choosing to celebrate this significant achievement. In the trailer, the "TV" singer, aged 21, expresses disbelief at the idea that a billion people have listened to their song. The "WHERE SHE GOES" singer, aged 29, then chimes in, acknowledging the success of their music on Spotify and the joyous celebration taking place.

Malone, aged 28, shares their appreciation for the song's ability to connect with people and expresses happiness in bringing joy into the lives of listeners. The screen fades to black, and the words "big songs," "bigger artists," and "billions of streams" appear prominently, emphasizing the magnitude of this accomplishment. While an official launch date for the series has not been announced, the teaser concludes with the words "coming soon."

Artists who reach this achievement are gifted the prestigious Billions Club plaque by Spotify. Currently, the Puerto Rican star has four songs from his 2022 studio album, Un Verano Sin Ti, in the Billions Club. Malone has two songs, one of which is "Sunflower," featured in the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Eilish has also entered the Billions Club with her collaboration with Khalid titled "lovely."
