Currently, she is being cared for by her sister Linda at her Las Vegas mansion and consulting with medical professionals to explore treatment options for SPS. Despite the challenges, Claudette emphasized the importance of maintaining hope even when no effective medication has been found.

Celine Dion, the youngest of 14 siblings, has three children with her late husband, René Angelil. While SPS is an incurable disease, its progression can be slowed down through a combination of rehabilitation and medication. Celine and her family are dedicated to doing everything possible to manage the condition, including seeking guidance from leading researchers in the field.

According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders, SPS is a rare and progressive neurological disease primarily affecting women. It is characterized by the stiffening of the torso, arms, and legs. The condition is also associated with autoimmune disorders such as type-I diabetes, thyroiditis, vitiligo, and anemia.

While there is currently no cure for SPS, certain medications like muscle relaxants can help alleviate the symptoms. Dion's journey with this challenging condition serves as a reminder of the importance of ongoing research and support for individuals facing rare diseases.
