Razer Unveils Kraken Kitty Headsets to Celebrate International Cat Day

Razer releases new Kraken Kitty headsets for International Cat Day, featuring larger cat ears and customizable lighting. Available for $99.

Razer, the gaming brand, has introduced a new range of Kraken Kitty headsets in celebration of International Cat Day. The original Kraken Kitty headset has been one of the brand's most popular models. According to Alvin Cheung, Senior Vice President of the Hardware Business Unit, the Kraken Kitty filled a gap in the market and became an instant hit. Razer is constantly seeking ways to innovate and provide better products for gamers, which is evident in their latest line of Kraken Kitty headsets.

The new additions to the Kraken Kitty family include the USB-wired Kraken Kitty V2, the wireless Kraken Kitty V2 BT, and the adorable clip-on Kitty Ears V2. These headsets cater to different budgets and preferences. The iconic Kraken Kitty ears have been enhanced, now 50% bigger and bolder across all new styles.

Razer describes the Kraken Kitty V2 as "pawsitively striking." It is slimmer than its predecessor but features larger cat ears. It seamlessly integrates with Razer's RGB ecosystem, Razer Chroma RGB. The Kraken Kitty V2 allows users to create an impressive online persona with its crystal-clear microphone and stream-reactive lighting. The Chroma feature responds to emotes, alerts, and more, enhancing audience engagement. Streamers can customize their profiles with over 16.8 million colors and various effects. The Kraken Kitty V2 is available in Razer Black or Quartz colors.

For those who prefer wireless connectivity, Razer offers the Kraken Kitty V2 BT. This Bluetooth version boasts a battery life of up to 60 hours, on-the-go Chroma RGB, and Bluetooth 5.2 with a gaming mode for low-latency gaming performance. The Kraken Kitty V2 BT is available in the Quartz color.

Alternatively, users can opt for the Kitty Ears V2, which are clip-on kitty ears compatible with any headset. The new version is 50% larger than its predecessor and features adjustable silicone straps for a comfortable fit. The Kitty Ears V2 is available in Quartz or Black.

The Kraken Kitty V2 is priced at $99, while the Kraken Kitty V2 BT is also available for $99. The Kitty Ears V2 can be purchased separately for $19.99.
