Dolphins trade Noah Igbinoghene for Cowboys CB; Myles Gaskin released
The Miami Dolphins made several moves to reach the 53-man roster limit, including trading cornerback Noah Igbinoghene and veteran offensive lineman Dan Feeney. Running back Myles Gaskin was also released. Undrafted free agents Chris Brooks, Brandon Pili, and Julian Hill made the team. The Dolphins were unable to acquire running back Jonathan Taylor from the Indianapolis Colts.
The Miami Dolphins have made several moves to reach the 53-man roster limit, including trading cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, a first-round pick in 2020, to the Dallas Cowboys for cornerback Kelvin Joseph. Igbinoghene failed to live up to expectations, making only five starts for the Dolphins. The team also traded offensive lineman Dan Feeney to the Chicago Bears for a sixth-round pick. The Dolphins retained six running backs, including undrafted free agent Chris Brooks, who impressed in the preseason. They also placed cornerback Nik Needham on the reserve/physically unable to perform list and placed defensive back Keion Crossen and tight end Eric Saubert on injured reserve. The Colts decided not to trade their disgruntled All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor, despite reported interest from the Dolphins. Taylor remains on the physically unable to perform list. The Dolphins released several other players, including cornerback Justin Bethel, receiver Robbie Chosen, and cornerback Trill Williams. The team now has 27 players on offense, 23 on defense, and three specialists.
