Overman shared that during the moment of silence, she said a prayer for those people.

Another attendee, Jane Wallingford, attended the event with her two children who were born after 2001. Wallingford stressed the importance of protecting and defending the freedoms that our country holds dear, as they are the very freedoms that were under attack on that tragic day.
