Georgia football faced a nail-biting game against Auburn on Saturday, but thanks to Brock Bowers' 40-yard touchdown catch, the Bulldogs secured a 27-20 victory. This win marked Georgia's 22nd consecutive victory and their seventh consecutive win against Auburn.

Bowers, Georgia's All-American tight end, had an impressive performance with eight catches for 157 yards and a touchdown. His game-winning catch was made despite being touched by two Auburn defenders after the catch. Bowers' outstanding performance begs the question of whether he should be in the conversation for the Heisman Trophy, especially considering his four catches of 28 or more yards in the second half.

Carson Beck, in his first career road start, faced a challenging environment. Although he had a shaky start, Beck finished the game with 23 completions out of 33 attempts for 313 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Georgia struggled to score in the first quarter, accumulating only 17 first quarter points in five games. Beck missed a potential touchdown pass to tight end Oscar Delp, which was followed by an interception by Jaylin Simpson.
