Taylor Swift Brings Hollywood Pals to Cheer on Travis Kelce at Chiefs-Jets Game
Taylor Swift attends Kansas City Chiefs game to watch Travis Kelce play against the New York Jets.
Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to watch Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New York Jets. The 12-time Grammy Award winner arrived about 40 minutes before kickoff, accompanied by actors Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman. Swift was seen on NBC's telecast multiple times throughout the game, including a shot of her with her arm around Kelce's mother, Donna, who was wearing Kelce's jersey. This comes just a week after Swift attended the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift, who is currently on a break from her Eras Tour, took advantage of an invitation from Kelce to watch the game. MetLife Stadium is a familiar venue for Swift, as she performed three sold-out concerts there in May. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who recently returned to the team after an injury, was also in attendance at the stadium.
The Chiefs had a strong start, but nearly blew a 17-0 lead against the Jets. However, they managed to hold on and secure a 23-20 victory, improving their regular season record to 3-1.
Despite their public appearances together, Swift and Kelce have not revealed any details about their relationship. Kelce did mention on his podcast that Swift looked amazing at the game and that everyone was speaking highly of her. He had previously invited her to a game in Kansas City but was unsuccessful in giving her a friendship bracelet.
Overall, Swift's presence at the game added excitement and star power to the event, and Kelce and the Chiefs were able to secure a hard-fought victory.
