Travis Kelce's former girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, who is a sports presenter, has spoken out about the online trolling she has faced following rumors of Kelce's relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. In an Instagram video, Nicole addressed the backlash and embarrassment she has experienced since the news broke. She revealed that she and Kelce had an on-and-off relationship for five years before their final breakup in 2022.

Since the rumors of Kelce's romance with Swift emerged, Nicole's followers have noticed that Swift's fans, known as Swifties, have been pitting the two women against each other and leaving immature and unnecessary comments on Nicole's Instagram posts, including Taylor Swift GIFs. In response to this, Nicole has shared a statement in a nearly four-minute-long video, specifically addressing Black women.

Nicole begins her statement by acknowledging the challenges Black women face when it comes to love and relationships. She emphasizes that people often fail to protect what they don't value and highlights the double standards and judgments Black women often face. Nicole urges women not to engage in this one-sided journey and reminds them of the power in their silence. She encourages them to silence the noise and self-doubt and not to succumb to the demoralizing and antiquated narrative that society imposes on them.

Nicole also emphasizes the importance of seeking resources such as therapy, prayer, and community support for those who are struggling with negativity and online trolling. She provides a message of empowerment and resilience, reminding her audience that they have the strength to overcome the challenges they face.

Kelce, on the other hand, confirmed his single status during an appearance on The Pivot Podcast in January. He expressed that he is focused on his profession and enjoying life. Nicole previously revealed that she initiated contact with Kelce by sending him a message on Instagram after noticing that he had been liking her posts on the platform. Kelce confirmed their breakup in 2020 and addressed rumors of infidelity in a now-deleted statement on X, formerly Twitter.

The couple reconciled in November 2020 and appeared together at the 11th Annual NFL Honours event in February. However, their relationship ended for good three months later. Meanwhile, Swift has been spotted at Kansas City Chiefs games, along with Kelce's mother and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of his teammate Patrick Mahomes.
