According to Billboard, the shooting occurred during an argument between two groups of people at the fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. As a result, one person was injured and the crowd panicked, running for safety.
The injured individual, who was shot in the chest, is currently in critical condition at the hospital. The shooting led to the arrest of one person on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. Initially, two individuals were taken into custody, but one was later released, as reported by Oklahoma City police Lt. Jeff Cooper. The suspect's name has not been disclosed by the police at this time.
The incident took place while Vince Neil was performing on the Chickasaw Country Entertainment Stage at the fair. Capt. Valerie Littlejohn stated that after the initial shooting, someone fired shots into the air, causing further panic among the crowd.
