In this new chapter of Frasier's life, he returns to Boston, where everybody knows his name. His grown son Freddy, played by Jack Cutmore-Scott, is entering college, setting the stage for new challenges and relationships for Frasier. As Frasier navigates his old stomping grounds, he also has the opportunity to fulfill some old dreams.

Freddy is a charming and handsome character, embodying a combination of his father and grandfather. He had previously chosen a different path, dropping out of college to become a fireman. However, recent troubles have left him with no one to turn to, prompting him to reconnect with his father. If they can overcome their past differences, Freddy and Frasier might be able to repair their relationship.

Alan Cornwall, played by Lyndhurst's Alan Cornwall, is Frasier's old college buddy turned university professor. He is British, boozy, and larger than life, with an intellect that matches Frasier's. However, Alan often neglects to use his intelligence to its full potential. Frasier's guidance and Alan's mischievous streak might just be what each of them needs to shake up their routines and find new direction in their lives.

Keith David portrays Frasier's nephew, David, who is now an adult and an awkward college freshman. David possesses Niles' intelligence and Daphne's smile but lacks their polish. Despite his unearned confidence, Frasier has a soft spot for his nephew's genuine enthusiasm.

Eve, played by Salgueiro, is Freddy's roommate. She is spontaneous, outgoing, and bursting with creative energy. Eve serves as a critical bridge between Frasier and Freddy, helping them reconcile their differences. She has a natural ability to connect with both father and son.

Lastly, Lilith, played by Neuwirth, is not thrilled about having to share Freddy with Frasier now that he's back in Boston. Their reunion at Freddy's birthday party leads to a classic face-off between the two characters.
