According to the top NFL betting apps, there are no players from either team with the best NFL MVP betting odds in 2023. However, Chargers QB Justin Herbert (+5000) is considered an interesting longshot. Neither team is favored with the best early Super Bowl betting odds.
Tyson Bagent, the undrafted rookie from Division II Shepherd University, stepped in for Justin Fields during the Bears' Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings after Fields dislocated his right thumb. Bagent then helped the Bears secure a 30-12 victory against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, marking their second win in three games after a 14-game regular-season losing streak. Bagent had an impressive performance, completing 21-of-29 passes for 162 yards and one touchdown. He also contributed 24 rushing yards on three attempts.
Meanwhile, Justin Herbert, the Chargers' quarterback, has been playing with a fractured middle finger on his left non-throwing hand. He sustained the injury when he was blocked by Maxx Crosby, a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, after throwing an interception during the third quarter of the Chargers' Week 4 win. Herbert was able to continue playing with a splint on his finger and is not expected to miss any time due to the injury.
