Eagles claim George Norcross removed from game for 'physically and verbally abusive' behavior towards staff
NJ Democratic power broker ejected from Eagles game after displaying US-Israeli flag. Eagles claim he was abusive, not removed for flag.
The Philadelphia Eagles have responded to allegations made by Democratic power broker George Norcross, claiming that he was ejected from Lincoln Financial Field during Sunday's game because of an American-Israeli flag. Videos posted to social media showed the tense interaction between Norcross and stadium security, with Norcross being escorted out and his flag removed. Norcross claimed that he was asked to leave because he refused to take the flag down, but the Eagles clarified that "signage containing any kind of non-game messaging" cannot be hung from stadium suites. The Eagles stated that Norcross was removed after he "became physically and verbally abusive" toward stadium staff when asked to remove the flag. They also reaffirmed their condemnation of the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7th. Norcross said he would be considering legal action.
