Jennifer Garner recently shared with "Live with Kelly & Mark" co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that her eldest daughter is about to turn 18 in three days. The 51-year-old actress, known for her roles in films like "13 Going on 30" and "Love, Simon," also mentioned that her 17-year-old daughter, Violet, is currently in the process of searching for colleges.
Garner expressed her excitement about Violet's college search, acknowledging the stress that comes with it. However, she praised her daughter for handling it like a champ and taking charge of the process without needing constant reminders from her parents.
Violet is the oldest of Garner's three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck. The former couple also shares a 14-year-old daughter, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, and an 11-year-old son, Samuel Garner Affleck.
During an appearance on "Good Morning America," Garner discussed her upcoming Netflix film, "Family Switch," in which she stars alongside Ed Helms and Emma Myers. The film follows two parents who swap bodies with their teenage kids due to a rare cosmic event.
Garner mentioned that she watched the film with her son Samuel and his class, and although he was initially embarrassed to see his mom turn into a teenager on screen, they ultimately had a great time watching it together. She shared that it ended up being a fun experience, despite Samuel's initial reaction.
