Buffalo Bills fans traveling for crucial AFC East matchup in Miami
Bills fans are traveling to Miami for the critical game against the Dolphins, with tickets and flights selling fast.
Buffalo Bills fan, Kyle Ciminelli, a Western New York native, is eagerly anticipating the critical game in South Florida against the Miami Dolphins. He booked his flights from Buffalo to Miami two weeks ago and solidified his travel plans after the Bills' win over New England. Ciminelli is not the only fan making plans to be at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Sunday night. Elizabeth Carey, Director of Public Relations with AAA of Western New York, stated that it's been a busy 24 hours for Bills fans booking last-minute travel. The post-pandemic travel is seeing a surge as Bills Mafia wants to be in Miami to cheer on the team.
StubHub had tickets for the Bills - Dolphins showdown at Hard Rock Stadium starting at just under $300. Flights to the Sunshine State were already at a premium as of Monday afternoon. Southwest Airlines flights were sold out, and the remaining flights came with a hefty price tag. Hotel prices for the weekend in and around Miami may be a tad easier to stomach, starting at $175 and up.
Jonathan Holler, a Western New York native, and President of Bills Backers Miami, expects thousands of fans to attend the parties in Miami. With a playoff game against their arch-rivals, Ciminelli plans to attend the tailgate and support the team.
