The news was revealed in the music video for her new single "Tu Corazón Es Mio," where Toliver can be seen kissing Uchis' stomach and expressing his love for their unborn child. The video also includes clips of the couple at ultrasound appointments and dancing together, as well as old footage of them as children.

The couple shared their excitement on Instagram, with Uchís writing, "Starting our family ❤️🩹 don't take too long to get here little pooks, mom & dad can't wait to share our life with you." Many of their famous friends and peers congratulated them on the news, with SZA and Becky G among those offering their well wishes.

Uchis also shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram story, expressing the love she has already felt for their unborn child. Toliver also took to his Instagram story to express his excitement over the upcoming arrival.

In a 2021 interview with W Magazine, Toliver confirmed his relationship with Uchís, explaining that they are not very public about their relationship. The couple has also shared their love for each other on social media, with Uchís dedicating a post to Toliver in June 2023.

The news of their pregnancy comes just before the release of Uchís' second Spanish-language album, Orquideas, which is set to feature collaborations with popular Latin American artists.
