Conor McGregor's Hollywood debut in the movie Roadhouse has fans going wild, calling for an Oscar for his performance.
Conor McGregor, the UFC fighter, has been revealed to star alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in a reboot of the 1989 classic Roadhouse. The movie, set for a March 21 release, features McGregor as the main antagonist and rival to Gyllenhaal's lead character. In the trailer released by MGM Studios, McGregor makes a grand entrance, smashing up a bar with a golf club and headbutting Gyllenhaal in a heated scene.
Fans have been in awe of McGregor's performance in the trailer, with some even calling for him to win an Oscar. McGregor, who has been out of action since July 2021 due to a leg injury, is set to return to the UFC in 2024. However, UFC president Dana White has denied McGregor's claim and insisted that no date or opponent for his return has been finalized.
