Actor Eric Roberts gushes over daughter Emma Roberts: I'm proud of their relationship

Eric Roberts is proud of daughter Emma Roberts, calling her "precious" and praising her acting career. He also loves being a grandpa.

Eric Roberts, known as "The King of the Gypsies," recently expressed his immense pride in his daughter, Emma Roberts, who is best known for her role in "American Horror Story." He shared that he feels proud of her every day and even went as far as to call her 2023 rom-com "Maybe I Do" his favorite film of hers so far.

Despite the private nature of their relationship, Eric publicly wished Emma a happy 32nd birthday in 2023, referring to her as his "precious daughter" and expressing his belief that she would "grow up to be all that and more." In a rare comment, Eric also shared with Hollywood Reporter that watching Emma's acting career has been "so much fun," particularly given that she has had no formal training and has learned on the job.

Emma is Eric's only child from his relationship with ex Kelly Cunningham. In addition to being Julia Roberts' brother, Eric is a stepfather to two children with his wife Eliza Roberts. He has four grandchildren, including Emma's son Rhodes, and has expressed that being a grandfather is the best job on the planet.

At 67, Eric has an impressive 600 acting credits on IMDb and shows no signs of slowing down, with 89 projects currently in the works. He receives between 30 to 50 offers every day and is open to working with student filmmakers and lesser-known projects, simply because he enjoys the process and loves to give aspiring filmmakers an opportunity.

In his latest film, "The Private Eye," Eric stars alongside controversial comedian Matt Rife, whom he admires and enjoys working with. Despite his extensive career, Eric continues to embrace new opportunities and is grateful for the experiences and relationships he has gained throughout his life in the entertainment industry.
