Ariana Grande took the stage on Saturday Night Live to perform two songs from her latest album, "Eternal Sunshine." The singer, in her third appearance as a musical guest on the show, sang "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" and "Imperfect for You." Host Josh Brolin introduced Grande for both performances, which showcased her vocal talents and stage presence.

During the first song, Grande sat on a home-like set, dressed in a black dress with a brown coat. The second performance featured Grande in a nude-colored gown, singing against an outdoor backdrop that transitioned from day to night on a virtual screen. The songs are part of Grande's seventh studio album, released on Friday, which includes a total of 13 tracks and a collaboration with her grandmother, affectionately known as "Nonna."

In a recent interview on the Zach Sang Show, Grande revealed that she initially had no plans to release new music until after her involvement in the movie musical "Wicked." However, due to production delays caused by strikes, Grande found herself back in the studio working on new material with hitmaker Max Martin. The singer's passion for the project led her to release the album earlier than planned.

Grande is set to star in the upcoming film adaptation of "Wicked," playing the role of Glinda alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. The singer expressed her excitement for the role, revealing that she had been pursuing the opportunity to audition for the part for nearly a decade. "I've never wanted anything more," Grande said of her desire to be a part of the production.
