Celebrate National Siblings Day with the story of twins Alli and Jess Wicker, who are inseparable even as they graduate.
Today is National Siblings Day, a day to celebrate the special bond between siblings. In honor of this day, we spoke with identical twin sisters, Alli and Jess Wicker, who have always shared a close relationship.
From a young age, Alli and Jess have been inseparable. They did everything together, from sports to classes in middle and high school. Their bond was so strong that they even decided to attend the same college, the University of Kentucky, despite initially planning to go to different schools.
While at UK, the sisters continued to do everything together, joining the same sororities and organizations. However, they chose different majors, with Jess studying pre-med and Alli focusing on healthcare administration. This meant they had to attend different classes and complete different assignments for the first time, but they still had each other for support.
As they prepare to graduate next month, Alli and Jess are excited for the next chapter in their lives. They will be living together but will have different schedules as they pursue their individual careers. Despite the changes that come with graduating and starting their careers, the sisters know that they will always have each other to lean on and share their experiences with.
In addition to their bond as twins, Alli and Jess also have two older brothers with whom they share a strong connection. They consider themselves lucky to have such a close-knit family that supports and cares for each other.
On this National Siblings Day, take a moment to appreciate the special relationship you have with your siblings. Whether you have a twin like Alli and Jess or siblings of a different age, cherish the bond you share and celebrate the love and support that comes with having siblings.
