Arsenal should not let their hopes of winning the Premier League title get out of hand, despite their hard-fought 3-2 victory over local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a thrilling London derby, according to manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners took a commanding three-goal lead by halftime, but Spurs fought back with two goals in the second half, making it a tense finish for Arsenal.
"Don't let success get to your head. We need to improve and keep pushing forward. There's always room for growth, and we need to focus on our upcoming match against Bournemouth," Arteta emphasized.
Arsenal, currently at the top of the league table, will face Bournemouth next before challenging Manchester United and Everton in the final games of the season in a captivating title race against Manchester City.
"We are fully focused on the task ahead. The excitement and challenges that lie ahead are truly inspiring," Arteta shared with the media after the intense match against Tottenham.
After recent setbacks against Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, Arsenal has shown resilience with victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Chelsea, culminating in a crucial win against Spurs, a team known for their tough competition.
Despite the demanding schedule, Arteta praised his team's dedication and determination, highlighting their eagerness to succeed in their quest for a long-awaited league title.
"The players have shown incredible commitment and desire to achieve our goals. I have full confidence in their abilities," Arteta expressed confidently.
"I must admit, I had some doubts in the final minutes of the game," he added with a grin.
