Nicholas Galitzine reveals boy band inspiration in The Idea of You

Nick Galitzine, 29, stars in "The Idea of You" with Anne Hathaway, showcasing his acting and singing talents in a new rom-com.

In his latest film, The Idea of You, actor Galitzine, at the age of 29, embraced a new challenge portraying Hayes Campbell, the 24-year-old lead singer of the world's most popular boy band. The movie, based on Robinne Lee's novel of the same name, delves into a May-December romance between Galitzine's character and Anne Hathaway's Solène, a 40-year-old divorced mother chaperoning her daughter's trip to the Coachella Music Festival.

During a backstage encounter, an unexpected relationship blossoms between the two characters. However, the real test for Galitzine came during his scenes on stage. Admitting he's not a dancer, he laughed about learning choreography alongside professional dancers in the film.

Working with his onscreen bandmates, Jordan Aaron Hall, Jaiden Anthony, Raymond Cham Jr., and Viktor White, Galitzine joked about looking good on stage. Drawing inspiration from groups like BTS, he highlighted the importance of chemistry among the band members to bring August Moon to life.
