The decision came after the pop superstar and the model-actor informed the court of their divorce settlement, following a week of resolving issues in Spears' conservatorship with her father.

Both parties filed court papers detailing the agreement on asset division, with no spousal support awarded to either Spears or Asghari. Despite Asghari initially seeking financial support, any future disputes will be handled through private arbitration. The couple, who had been together for seven years, separated in July, and Asghari filed for divorce in August. They did not have any children together.

Spears revealed in her memoir that she and Asghari had experienced a miscarriage before their marriage. The couple tied the knot in June 2022, surrounded by celebrity guests, marking a significant moment in Spears' life post-conservatorship. However, their marriage ended just over a year later.

The settlement with her father, Jamie Spears, resolved lingering issues from the conservatorship, avoiding a potentially lengthy and contentious trial. Spears has remained relatively quiet about the divorce, stating in an Instagram post that she was not obligated to explain the reasons behind the split.

Asghari cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, making it Spears' third failed marriage. She has two sons from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline. Spears' relationship with Asghari began in 2016 when he appeared in her music video, leading to their engagement in 2021.

Since the end of her conservatorship, Spears has released music, including collaborations with artists like Elton John. Despite her return to the music scene, she has expressed no desire to perform live or release a new album.
