After his walkoff heroics in the previous game, Hujsak stepped up when it mattered most, delivering the go-ahead runs with a single up the middle. Tyler Davis closed out the game with a perfect ninth inning, earning his fifth save, while Nate Dohm picked up the win after pitching two scoreless innings.

Despite an early lead for Mississippi State, Texas A&M fought back to tie the game in the sixth inning, taking advantage of a pitching change.
